What this covers
This is how MET (playatmet.com) handles what we know about you. Venues you book at run their own platform against the same database — where that matters, it's said below.
What we collect
An email address, and a name once you create an account. If you add a picture, that's stored too. If you let your browser share your location, we use it to show you games near you and nothing else. Everything else — which games you've booked, played, or stand in the leaderboard — is what using the site naturally produces.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in and one remembers your language; both are necessary for the site to work and neither is used to track you elsewhere. We run no analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.
How we use it
To sign you in, hold your booking, show you the leaderboard, and email you about a game you're part of. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile, because we don't have one to build it for.
Who we share it with
The venue you book at sees your name and the slot you're in, so reception knows who's arriving — that's the whole of what a booking is. We do not sell data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.
Where it's kept
Your details live in our database; a picture you upload is kept in cloud storage. Nothing is stored on paper, and nothing is stored anywhere we haven't listed here.
Keeping and deleting it
Close your account and your personal details are removed. What stays is the historical record of games played — scores and standings, the way a league table doesn't erase a season because a player retired — and it is kept without your contact details attached.

MET is not for children. You need to be at least 16 to hold an account here.
Your rights, and getting in touch
You can ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at hello@playatmet.com. We may update this policy as the site changes; the date at the top says when it last did.
